According to the U.S. Department of Labor Nonfarm payroll employment fell by 240,000 in October, and the unemployment rate
rose from 6.1 to 6.5 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department
of Labor reported today. October's drop in payroll employment followed declines of
127,000 in August and 284,000 in September, as revised. Employment has fallen by
1.2 million in the first 10 months of 2008; over half of the decrease has occurred
in the past 3 months. In October, job losses continued in manufacturing, construc-
tion, and several service-providing industries, but Health care and mining continued
to add jobs... Hint... Hint... Gas Prices are coming down right, thats a good thing right, well not if you don't have a job to pay for it, even if it is cheap, in addition the way America, as well as other foreign nations are embracing the new President Elect Barak Obama I dont think prices will still stay this low for long. My theory is the reason why oil substantially plummeted recently is because of the perception of a decrease demand for the commodity... AKA Consumer Confidence, but by the way Obama inspires the PEOPLE and instills assurance in them I believe Oil prices will rise again. Im saying that to say this.... enjoy it while it last, but in preparation of a thriving economy in the near present check this out!
